Blue Ridge Equine Electronic Coggins

Please join us wtih Global Vet Link to provide our clients with an electronic coggins service.

We are in the process of going 'green' with our Coggins and Health Certificates. This particular request involves some assistance from our clients. If you wish to receive this service, please take pictures of your horse(s), and email them to us at brec@blueridgeequine.com. We can then attache the photos to your account and send them to Global Vet Link. This will allow us to process the Coggins more efficiently. Below are the requirements from Global Vet Link to help guide you in what they are looking for.

Requirements for Digital Images:

* The images must be clear, legible and in color

* There must be 3 images: one of the entire left side, one of the entire right side, and one of the face (including muzzle and ears)

* Each leg must be viewable to include coronets

* The horse should fill no more than 90% of the image with minimal human content in the picture

* The horse must not be wearing saddle, blanket, shipping wraps, or any other outer garment

Additional Suggestions:

* Picture should be taken outside with the sun or light source behind the photographer

* When taking the side view pictures, seperate legs to view inside limb markings
