Blue Ridge Equine Internal Medicine
Blue Ridge Equine Clinic is one of the regions best resources when faced with an internal medicine case. Our professional staff is well qualified to respond to and manage a variety of in-hospital cases ranging from neonatal intensive care to geriatric horse evaluations. Neonatal Intensive Care and Adult Critical Care is one of BREC’s specialties. The hospital has dedicated intensive care stalls (temperature controlled), with access to oxygen therapy, state of the art imaging equipment, 24 hour on-site monitoring with licensed veterinary technicians. We also have a separate five-stall isolation barn that is available for the management of horses with contagious diseases.
