Dr. Katherine Hillebrand

Equine Intern

Dr. Katherine Hillebrand, originally from Winnetka, Illinois, received her DVM from Iowa State University.  Her undergraduate studies were completed here in our backyard at the University of Virginia with a double major in Biology and Music (Katherine is an opera singer!).  In addition to her studies, Katherine was a member of the UVA Riding Team.  In her spare time she enjoys yoga, traveling, and her new Bernese Mountain Dog “Moose”.  Dr. Hillebrand’s main veterinary interests include reproduction, lameness, and ambulatory medicine.
