Cheyenne joined BREC in 2019 as a receptionist at the main office, where technician's Anne and Malorie inspired her to take the leap into veterinary medicine and pursue a career as a veterinary technician. In 2021, Cheyenne became part of the Valley team as a veterinary assistant while completing her degree to become an LVT. In December of 2023 Cheyenne graduated from the Veterinary Nursing Program at Purdue University. After the Valley office closed, she transitioned into small animal medicine at a specialty clinic but has returned to working in the Valley alongside Dr. Hecking on Tuesdays.
In her free time, she likes to spend time with her 3 dogs Winnie, Lucy, and Daisy. She also enjoys riding her Chincoteague pony, Pia, who she bought as a 2-month-old at the annual pony swim auction in 2016.
