Deworming Protocols

Fecal egg counts (FEC) provide us with valuable information that helps us evaluate the efficacy of dewormers being used and determine the best deworming treatment plan for your horse. Spring and Fall are peak transmission times. By doing a FEC during these times and following a deworming protocol, we can minimize pasture contamination and prevent parasitic disease and resistance.
