Dr. Roe joined the team as an intern in 2024, she worked closely with both surgeons in the hospital and the ambulatory doctors in the field treating horses. She is currently a primary ambulatory doctor with major interests in nutrition, skin and allergy disorders and overall well rounded wellness for horses. She is pursuing her dream career of both equine general practice at Blue Ridge on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays and companion animal general practice on Wednesdays and Thursdays. She received her DVM from Midwestern University in Phoenix, Arizona and was very excited to escape the heat and experience the lovely Virginia fall and winter seasons. Dr. Roe has a long term goal of being able to provide veterinary ambulatory services to horses, dogs and cats. Dr. Roe has many hobbies including hiking, painting/crafting, antique shopping and finding new toys for her two young kitties.

Dr. Reynolds Cowles is the esteemed founder of Blue Ridge Equine Clinic and a 1967 Oklahoma State graduate who specializes in lameness in performance and racing horses and is a highly decorated leader, having served as Vice President of the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP).

Dr. Erica Beadle is a Texas A&M graduate who spent 8 years at Waller Equine Hospital, focusing her veterinary interests on internal medicine, preventative care, and dentistry while actively competing her dog, Sparrow, in Upland Hunt Tests and Fast CAT.
